The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology was a partner in the celebrations marking the 120th anniversary of Stanisław Staszic High School No. 14 in Warsaw, one of the most distinguished and renowned secondary schools in the capital.

The anniversary celebrations were exceptionally solemn and attracted a large group of graduates.

120 years of tradition and history

Stanisław Staszic High School No. 14 was founded in 1906 on the initiative of the Association of Technicians in Warsaw, and in particular its president Piotr Drzewiecki, who later became mayor of Warsaw from 1918 to 1921.

The school was founded and its first headmaster was Jan Zydler, a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Warsaw and author of geometry textbooks. From the very beginning, the school combined high-quality teaching with a modern approach to education.

The special significance of the anniversary for PJAIT

This anniversary had a special significance for the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. The rector PJAIT, Dr. Jerzy Paweł Nowacki, is a graduate of Stanisław Staszic High School No. 14, which was named after Klement Gottwald from 1953 to 1990. This personal connection further strengthens the bond between the Academy and the high school.

On the occasion of this anniversary, we wish the entire school community many more years of dynamic development, success for students and graduates, andcontinued passion in shaping future generations.

To all students of Staszic High School, we wish you success and the fulfillment of your dreams!
