Data is the key to AI, which is why its value continues to grow, and with it the need for professionals familiar with good information management practices. Data Governance is the main concept in this field, which is defined by 10 pillars, according to the Data Management Association (DAMA). DAMA recently released a new version of the book Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBoK v2.1), which is a compendium of best practices in this field. This lecture aims to discuss these practices and provide an overview of the industry's current challenges, the growing importance of data management, and potential paths forward.

The talk is aimed at students, professionals from the IT and business worlds, as well as experts who have been dealing with data for many years. During the interactive session, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their own experiences and connect with other enthusiasts of the topic.

We warmly encourage you to sign up and actively participate. See you there!
