New Rector's Order on forms of support for students and doctoral students with disabilities or chronic diseases
The Capital City has announced the call for applications for the 7th edition of the Warsaw City Scholarships
for doctoral students! This is a unique opportunity for young scientists from universities
from all over the country.
PhD students from all over Poland can apply for the grant,
who want to conduct a study on Warsaw. The idea
of the study must be related to a specific area of the city's functioning.
These areas have been submitted by offices of the office, which need additional knowledge in order
to perform their tasks more effectively.
Why apply?
Financial Support: The scholarship provides significant
financial support, allowing doctoral students to focus on
research work. Implementation of the scholarship research project lasts up to
12 months, the scholarship recipient receives up to PLN 30,000.
Scientific development: Participation in the scholarship program is
an opportunity to broaden knowledge, acquire new skills.
During the implementation of the project, the scholarship holder receives
substantive support from the staff of the City Council.
Prestige: Being a scholarship holder of the City of Warsaw is not only
an honor, but also recognition of the ability to use
knowledge in practice.
Experience: Completing a research project involves
gaining experience working with an institution outside of the science sector,
which helps when looking for work and subsequent projects.
Who can apply?
The scholarships are intended for
doctoral students of universities from all over the country. You must have doctoral student status
during your research project.
How to apply?
The application process is simple and user-friendly
. Scholarships can be applied for through
scholarships.um.warszawa.pl. The application deadline is July 16
2025.
