We are pleased to announce that our student Marharyta Prykhodska has become a finalist in the international poster competition on the occasion of the 550th birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus. Marharyta Prykhodska studies at the Faculty of New Media Arts. She is currently finishing the third year of her bachelor's degree at graphic design (full-time, Polish-language mode). Works by students from the studio of Dr. Agnieszka Ziemiszewska were presented at the "First Invitational International Students Poster Exhibition of Fazili Art School" at Didar Gallery in Isfahan, Iran. Eleven studios from countries such as Denmark, Ecuador, Poland, South Korea, the USA and Taiwan were invited to the exhibition. Mateusz Szewczyk's doctoral project won a silver statuette at the European Design Awards

Mateusz Szewczyk's PhD project won a silver statuette at the EDA - European Design Awards in the infographics category. This is the third biggest success for this project, which also won a bronze statuette at the IDA - International Design Awards in the graphic design / Print category and made it to the "short list" and final exhibition of the Peru Design Biennial in Lima. The Supervisors of Dr. Mateusz Szewczyk's doctoral thesis are Prof. Tomasz Myjak and Dr. Anna Światłowska. The project was created in collaboration with XR_Center PJAIT. Congratulations!

Performances of Japanese nō theater at the National Theater in Warsaw.

On June 18 at 6 pm, the National Theater in Warsaw will host a performance of Japanese traditional nō theater entitled "Spirit of Shōjō Wine (Midare)" by the Hōshō Theater from Tokyo. The performance is staged and produced by PJAIT lecturer Dr. Jakub Karpoluk. Funds raised from the purchase of tickets will be used to help Ukraine.
