Once again, our students are heading to Kraków to take the city by storm at Digital Dragons 2026—the largest B2B conference for game developers in Poland!

We are pleased to announce the success of 1st year Graphic Design student ( full-time Polish-language studies) Ms. Barbara Gandys, whose illustrations were shown in a documentary about witches on Deutsche Welle TV.
The documentary tells the story of a woman named Margarethe Kröber, who lives in the small village of Winningen. She is the ancestor of the narrator - Karin Helmstaedt. Margarethe was accused of witchcraft and met a tragic fate. Filled with curiosity and a desire to learn the truth about her ancestor's story, Karin traveled to Winningen, known for its witchcraft trials in the 17th century. Margarethe came from a respected family, was married to a judge and had two young children. She faced accusations such as bringing Satan into the church and causing illness by giving food or drink. Despite strenuous assertions of innocence, Margarethe was subjected to torture until she finally confessed and accused another woman of being a witch. She was eventually executed, and her body was burned on a hill among the public. The dark history of the witch hunts and the community's complicity in her execution are uncovered, shedding light on the tragic consequences of such trials and the community's role in them.
