The evening of May 21, 2024 was unusually warm and full of inspiration as we proudly hosted the Night of Ideas conference within the walls of PJAIT. Under the theme “Fault Lines” (FR: “Ligne de faille”), this year's edition focused on the extraordinary encounter between man and technology, generating inspiring discussion and reflection.

Thanks to distinguished speakers such as Alec Balasescu, a respected Romanian anthropologist and diplomat, who spoke about his research on the impact of technology on society and health, and Axel Buendia of CNAM, an expert in interactive media, who spoke about both the potential and challenges of artificial intelligence, we had the opportunity to explore various aspects of the issue. Dr. Natalia Juchniewicz, a researcher in the sociology of technology, provoking a deeper consideration of the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence development, created an inspiring atmosphere for discussion and reflections.

The conference, moderated by Joanna Cieśla of Polityka weekly, enabled a lively exchange of views and visions on the future of artificial intelligence and its impact on our society and everyday life.

We sincerely thank all the speakers and guests who made this conference a unique moment of reflection on one of the most important breakthroughs of our time - artificial intelligence.

For those who did not have the opportunity to attend in person, we invite you to visit our Facebook profile, where you can find a recording of the streaming of the event.
