The Conference of Rectors of Warsaw Universities was pained to learn of the tragic incident at Warsaw University. We unequivocally condemn the brutal crime that harms the fundamental values of the academic community.

The academic community of all Warsaw universities expresses its solidarity and sympathy with the entire Warsaw University community. In this extremely difficult time, we assure you of our full support. We firmly oppose all forms of aggression and violence, which are unacceptable, especially in the academic space. Universities, in accordance with their centuries-old mission, should remain enclaves of dialogue, mutual respect, openness and total security for all members of the community.
