Project Management 

A graduate of the Project Management specialization is prepared to work in project teams implementing various IT ventures as a:

• project manager,
• IT team leader,
• person holding management positions in project- and process-oriented organizations, consulting firms, banks, software development departments, IT infrastructure maintenance, etc.

In addition to issues directly related to running IT projects, the specialization also deals with topics related to IT solutions that are not IT projects, the application of IT technologies in management, and the financial and managerial aspects of IT projects.

Examples of thesis areas:

• Supporting project management or project communication using IT tools,
• Implementation or improvement of the project management methodology used in the organization,
• Organizational and IT support for human resource management,
• Organizational and IT support for stakeholder management in a project,
• Issues concerning the human factor in IT projects,
• Analyses of the effectiveness of traditional methods (or Agile) in the implementation of IT projects,
• Solutions supporting risk management in IT projects,
• Methods of project financing based on Blockchain technology,
• Service lifecycle in the context of ITIL.
