Project management
A graduate of the Project Management specialization is prepared to work in project teams in the implementation of various IT projects as:
- project manager,
- IT team leader,
- A person who holds management positions in project- and process-oriented organizations, consulting companies, banks, software development, IT infrastructure maintenance, etc.
In addition to issues directly related to the conduct of IT projects, the specialty also deals with issues related to IT solutions that are not IT projects, applications of information technology in management, and financial and managerial aspects of IT projects.
Sample thesis scopes:
- Supporting project management or project communication using IT tools,
- Implement or improve the project management methodology used in the organization,
- Organizational and IT support for human resource management,
- Organizational and IT support for stakeholder management in the project,
- Human factor issues in IT projects,
- Analyze the effectiveness of traditional methods (or Agile) in implementing IT projects,
- Solutions to support risk management in IT projects,
- Methods of financing projects based on Blockchain technologies,
- Service lifecycle in the context of ITIL.

The choice of specialization in the Department of Computer Science is made after completing a questionnaire*.
*The questionnaire is to be filled out by mal second-year students of Master's degree in the Faculty of Computer Science.
