The 17th Forum of Non-Public Universities, organized by the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and SWPS University, was a multifaceted event focusing on important aspects of local government.
During the two days, student government members from all over the country participated in a number of training sessions aimed at absorbing new knowledge and integrating.
The first day featured a debate on student financing, led by Dr. Stanislaw Mocek, professor at Collegium Civitas - Chairman of the Conference of Non-Public Academic Schools of Poland, Prof. Dr. Roman Cieślak - Rector of SWPS University, and Julia Bednarska-Lesniak - Vice President of the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland.
That day also included training on the craft of speaking, a lecture combined with a talk on stress where students could share their experiences, a lecture on AI (Pawel Kowalski) and training on leadership (Rita Zuchowska) or team building (Maciej Korab) according to preference.
The second day saw the deliberations of the delegates of the Forum of Non-Public Universities, where representatives of various universities had the opportunity to discuss and make decisions on key educational and academic issues.
At the same time, there were workshops related to the topic of artificial intelligence, led by Data Science Club PJAIT and Michal Wieczorek, which was a valuable addition for participants interested in the latest technological trends.
Grand Prix Gala
The Gala of the Awards of the Student Environment of Non-Public Universities Grand Prix was a unique moment during which the achievements and commitment of students and universities in a variety of fields were recognized.
Speaking at the time were the Honorable Rector Jerzy Nowacki, Prof. PJAIT , and the Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Collegium Civitas, Dr. Pawel Maranowski.
The awards presented at the gala recognized individuals and institutions that have distinguished themselves in the academic community.
Chairman of the Student Government PJAIT, Michal Orzylowski, was awarded the prize in the Student Socialist category.
In addition, the Capital's Non-Public Universities, of which the Local Government PJAIT, is a part, received a prestigious statuette in the Student Culture category for last year's Non-Public Universities Juvenalia event.
The self-government of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology was represented by: Michał Orzyłowski, Lena Marusik, Piotr Rutkowski, Łukasz Gęborys, Mikołaj Piołun-Noyszewski, Rafał Opiłowski, Karolina Zambrzycka and Kajetan Walocha.
