The area of responsibilities of the Faculty Council
The responsibilities of the Faculty Council include:
- adopting the Faculty's development strategy,
- providing opinions on the dean's annual report on the Faculty's activities,
- providing opinions on applications regarding the creation of fields of study and specializations,
- acting to ensure appropriate conditions and directions for the development of the Faculty's academic staff,
- conducting systematic evaluation of the education process,
- creating conditions for the development of student scientific movements and self-education of students,
- passing resolutions on other matters specified in the statute or requiring the voice of the Faculty community.

Area of responsibilities of the Programme Commission
- Monitoring current international curriculum standards. Comparing the curriculum with programs recommended by leading international organizations (e.g., ACM). Proposing curriculum changes to align with international standards.
- Preparation of proposed changes to study programmes at the Faculty of Computer Science in accordance with current Ministry of Science and Higher Education standards and current trends in the development of computer science.
- Conducting an annual review of the curriculum documentation to verify the completeness and timeliness of information regarding the taught subjects.
- Developing subject transfer policies.

Scope of duties
Supervising quality control procedures for teaching processes at the Faculty of Computer Science at PJAIT, including:
- conducting a semester survey allowing students to evaluate the quality of classes;
- conducting an annual evaluation of departments and teaching staff;
- conducting class observations;
- other activities aimed at improving the quality of education at the Faculty of Computer Science.
