area responsibilities of the Faculty Council
The powers of the Faculty Council include:
- Adoption of the Department's development strategy,
- Opinion on the dean's annual report on the activities of the faculty,
- Providing opinions on proposals for the creation of majors and specializations,
- Acting to ensure proper conditions and directions for the development of academic teachers of the department,
- Making a systematic evaluation of the educational process,
- Creating conditions for the development of the student scientific movement and student self-education,
- Adoption of resolutions on other matters specified in the statute or requiring the expression of the faculty community.

area responsibilities of the Program Committee
- Monitoring current international standards of study programs. Comparing the study program with programs recommended by leading international organizations (e.g. ACM). Proposals for curricular changes to match international standards.
- Preparation of proposals for changes in the curricula of the Faculty of Computer Science in accordance with the current standards of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and current trends in the development of computer science.
- Annual review of the study program documentation, checking the completeness and timeliness of information on the subjects taught.
- Develop rules for item transfers.

area responsibilities
Supervision of procedures for quality control of teaching processes at the Faculty of Information Technology PJAIT, including:
- Conducting a semester-long survey that allows students to assess the quality of instruction;
- Conducting annual evaluations of department chairs and teaching staff;
- conducting hospitalizations;
- Other measures to improve the quality of education at the Department of Computer Science.
