The Perspektywy Educational Foundation and Intel, as part of their long-term cooperation to increase the participation of women in the new technology sector, are launching the second edition of the scholarship program for girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).

The „New Technologies for Women – Ukraine” scholarship program is aimed at Ukrainian female students, PhD students, and graduates studying in Poland (starting technical studies in autumn 2023) who, due to the war in Ukraine, are in a difficult financial and life situation.

The program consists of:

a 10-month financial scholarship of PLN 12,000 gross (paid in two installments),

technical and soft skills workshops with experts from Intel Technology Poland,

career counseling sessions and participation in the Buddies mentoring program,

and free participation in Perspektywy Women in Tech 2024 – Europe and Asia's largest event for women in STEM, Tech & IT.

The following can apply for the “New Technologies for Women – Ukraine” program:

  • female students and PhD students from Ukraine studying at Polish technical academies and universities in STEM fields (list of academies and fields: https://www.stypendiadladziewczyn.pl/pl/lista),
  • female Academic High School graduates from Ukraine starting studies in the STEM field in the 2023/2024 academic year,
  • candidates should know English at a communicative level,
  • hold student/PhD student status throughout the entire following academic year,
  • attach a certificate from the academy confirming student/PhD student status.

Enrolment for the “New Technologies for Women – Ukraine” program is two-stage and consists of the following parts:

  • STAGE I (from June 14 to August 25, 2023) – submission of online applications via the electronic form on the project website: www.stypendiadladziewczyn.pl/ukraine/ and formal verification of applications.
  • STAGE II (until September 8, 2023) – selection of 50 winners through an application contest

Applications for the program are accepted until August 25, 2023.
