Perspektywy Educational Foundation and Intel, as part of a long-standing collaboration to increase women's participation in the new technology industry, are launching the second edition of a scholarship program for girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The scholarship program "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" is aimed at Ukrainian female students, doctoral candidates and high school graduates (starting their technical studies in fall 2023) who are in a difficult financial/living situation due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The program consists of:
- A 10-month financial stipend of PLN 12,000 gross (paid in two installments),
- Technical and soft skills workshops with Intel Technology Poland experts,
- career counseling sessions and participation in the mentoring Buddies Program,
and free participation in Perspectives Women in Tech 2024, the largest event in Europe and Asia for women in STEM, Tech & IT.
The "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" program is open to applicants:
- Ukrainian-origin female students and doctoral candidates studying STEM subjects at Polish technical colleges and universities (list of colleges and majors: https://www.stypendiadladziewczyn.pl/pl/lista),
- Ukrainian-origin high school graduates entering the STEM field in the 2023/2024 academic year,
- Candidates should have a communicative knowledge of English,
- Have the status of a student/doctoral candidate for the entire following academic year,
- Attach a certificate from the university confirming the status of the student/doctoral candidate.
Recruitment for the "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" program is in two stages and consists of the following parts:
- STAGE I (from June 14 to August 25, 2023) - accepting applications online through an electronic form on the project website: www.stypendiadladziewczyn.pl/ukraine/ and formal verification of applications.
- STAGE II (until September 8, 2023) - selection of 50 female winners through a competition of applications
Applications for the program are accepted until August 25, 2023.
