We are delighted to announce that in December, Dr. Agnieszka Ziemiszewska, professorPJAIT, lecturing at the Faculty of New Media Arts, was invited to join Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) – one of the most prestigious graphic design associations in the world.

AGI currently brings together over 500 designers from nearly 50 countries. It is an organization with an exceptionally high entry threshold: candidates are invited by current members and then undergo international verification by a jury that evaluates their achievements, impact on visual culture, and the quality of their creative work.

Historically, Poland had an extremely strong position in the AGI – it included the most outstanding artists of the Polish School of Poster Art, such as Henryk Tomaszewski, Waldemar Świerzy, and Jan Młodożeniec. After their departure, Poland's representation gradually faded. Today's return of Poland to the active circle of the association is therefore not only an individual success, but also an important signal to the international industry: Polish design is a distinctive, unique voice in the global discussion on visual culture.

Dr. Agnieszka Ziemiszewska is a graphic designer, educator, and art curator. She designs posters, publications, visual identities, and curates exhibitions. She began her career as a freelance designer creating visual identity systems. Currently, she focuses on experimental, non-commercial, educational, and research projects. Her works have been presented around the world in both individual and collective exhibitions. She has received many prestigious awards and distinctions, including at the Toyama Poster Triennial in Japan, the Warsaw Poster Biennale, and the China Poster Biennale.

Professor Ziemiszewska has been admired for years by students of graphic design and interior design PJAIT by the international Erasmus community.

She created the international typographic poster competition Type Text and the international typographic educational project Type Text Roots, which brings together students from all continents. As a curator, she has organized numerous exhibitions around the world. At the same time, Ms. Ziemiszewska is invited to numerous competitions as a member of the jury.
