Bio

Kinga H. Skorupska is an assistant professor at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), with a current focus on artificial intelligence, UX design and computer games. Her research focuses on applications of technology in remote collaboration at work and in education, with a particular focus on stakeholder engagement and user research. As part of the Horizon Europe Link4Skills and EuOnAir projects, she is applying co-design methodology to study human-AI interactions for social good.

She holds a PhD in the ICT and Psychology program, and her research work includes interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of psychology, design and IT, including VR for environmental awareness (VAPE) and research on well-being and accessibility in VR and mobile technologies. She collaborates with researchers at the National Institute for Information Processing, SWPS University and Grassroots of Digital Europe (GRADE) COST Action on human factors issues, particularly CSCW in VR, digital transformation stress, and preserving early digital heritage through crowdsourcing.
