The exhibition "The Light of Gdynia – photographs by Bolesława and Edmund Zdanowski, 1945–1970" is now open – we invite you to visit the Museum of the City of Gdynia.

HEXAGON in Polish means a figure with six angles. In the language of the students, PJAIT is one (according to some, the most comfortable) of our relaxation zones, where certainly not one student has achieved zen. It is located on the second floor of Building B in the Japanese culture section. We hope you will find a moment between classes to relax and sink into the soft poufs of our quiet zone.
While you are relaxing, remember that this space is monitored and smoke detectors are installed!
Along with a photo of the sun-filled Hexagon, we have some interesting facts about the Japanese language for you. They probably won't come as a surprise to students of Japanese culture, but we hope our computer scientists and artists will learn something new!
For the beginning of the academic year, we have a Japanese proverb for you:
虎穴に入らずんば虎子を得ず
Koketsu ni irazunba, koji o ezu
("If you don't enter the den of the tiger, you won't capture the tiger/Who doesn't take a chance, doesn't have one.").
Work hard and take risks, because great success and exceptional achievements do not come easily. We keep our fingers crossed for you and wish you the best of luck!
