Quality internships in PJAIT

Project implemented by the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.

Project Objective:

Improve the professional and key competencies required by the labor market of 122 male and female students of the Faculties of New Media Arts and Information Management PJAIT by gaining practical experience to supplement the knowledge gained during their studies in high-quality domestic internships.

The project's activities will include students of the last two years of full-time engineering studies, as well as second-cycle and unified master's studies, as well as part-time students of New Media Arts, both undergraduate and master's, including 100 women and 35 men.

Through participation in the project, students will get the opportunity to develop their strongest professional competencies by carrying out work as part of interdisciplinary teams in renowned companies in the Business Services and Creative Industries.

The direct benefits for the trainees will be to receive feedback in the form of company recommendations and a competency profile developed as part of Career Counseling with the participation of the PJAIT supervisor and the company.

Employers participating in a quality internship will gain, through cooperation with the university, the opportunity to significantly improve the efficiency of the internship process through more accurate recruitment and constant monitoring of the intern's development of competencies and support of the Supervisor PJAIT in solving substantive problems that may arise during the internship.

The project involves the implementation of two- and three-month domestic internships. All internships will be conducted in accordance with the recommendations of the Council of March 10, 2014.

Schedule:

  • Recruitment of trainees - continuous recruitment, from November 2017 to July 30, 2019.
  • Recruitment of companies - continuous recruitment, from November 2017 to July 30, 2019.
  • Organization of meetings between the intern(s) and the company and assignment of interns to companies - from November 2017 to July 30, 2019.
  • Development of preparation package, assignment of tutors - from November 2017 to September 30, 2019.
  • Development of company feedback and comprehensive feedback in the form of a competency balance sheet - from January 2018 to September 2019.
