PJAIT will participate in the prestigious OSAKA 2025 World Expo!

We are very pleased to announce that the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology has been invited to participate in the most important and prestigious economic and cultural event in the world - the World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai! Along with a dozen other Polish universities, we will have the honor of representing our country and culture in the Polish Pavilion. It is a great honor to co-create an event that attracts worldwide attention. After all, as the organizers write, "The World Expo becomes the capital of the world for six months."

What is Expo 2025 Osaka?

Did you know that such icons as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Atomium in Brussels, and the right hand of the Statue of Liberty were displayed at the World Expos? The Expo is a major global event that combines economic, cultural, promotional and tourism themes. These exhibitions are held once every five years and last six months. The upcoming edition, Expo 2025 in Osaka, will take place from April 13 to October 13, 2025.

The organizers expect 170 participants, including 161 countries and regions and 9 international organizations. More than 28 million people are expected to visit the exhibition. They will be able to visit national pavilions, admire expositions, learn about inventions and cutting-edge technological solutions. Expo is a celebration of culture, science and development!

PJAIT in the Polish Pavilion

Poland will present itself at Expo 2025 as a country whose strength is its people - creative, open, educated and courageous in action. The watchword for Poland's presence at the World Expo is "Poland. A heritage that drives the future." Using its rich national heritage, Poland will seek innovative solutions to the challenges of the modern world. This slogan is extremely close to the goals and activities of PJAIT, so we are all the more pleased that we will be able to co-create activities in the Polish Pavilion. 

Construction work on the Pavilion began on August 8. It will be opened on April 13, 2025, with the official start of the Expo World Exhibition. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) is responsible for the project of Poland's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. (PAIH), and the Ministry of Development and Technology is the supervising institution.
