Invitation to the event: "Between data protection and privacy" - an overview of cyber security challenges

On June 4, first thing in the morning, Marta Godzisz, Director of the Centre for Postgraduate Studies and MBA for the IT Industry at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, appeared on the SCIENCE & EDU stage during the first day of the Women in IT Summit 2025 conference. Her lecture entitled "404: Future skills not found "attracted the attention of a wide audience - this year's event attracted nearly 13,000 female participants!
In her speech, Godzisz addressed the topic of the missing competencies of the future in the IT industry - both in terms of hard technological skills and the growing role of soft skills. She pointed out the rapidly changing trends and the transience of skills that need to be systematically replaced by new ones. She stressed that upskilling today is not a choice, but a necessity. A well-chosen post-graduate course of study that matches an individual's career path not only allows one to remain in the dynamic labor market, but also to consciously develop competencies in the right direction. As she noted: "The labor and technology market has never before forced us to invest in ourselves so dynamically."
PJAIT as event partner
As every year, PJAIT was a proud partner of the Women in IT Summit - one of the largest and most inspiring events for women in the technology industry in Europe. Promoting diversity, supporting professional development and building competence in the IT world are values that invariably underpin the mission of our university.
Such events are a chance to show off to a wider audience also thanks to the study circle zone. This year, nearly 20 PJAIT students showed their games and projects, which were created as part of extra-curricular activities.
Women Summit is extremely popular with our female students every year. Just like last year, as many as 47 young future female engineers attended the convention and sought their future career paths.
