PJAIT 's instructors share their experiences at the IATEFL Poland international conference

This October, we’ll meet in Poznań at Embodied Realms —a festival dedicated to immersive art, XR technologies, and experiences at the intersection of people, images, and technology.
This year’s program features projects and activities related to the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Science. This is an opportunity for us to show how the knowledge gained at the academy translates into experimental, interactive projects.
One of the projects on display will be “From Museum to Theater”— an international educational project dedicated to the heritage of theatrical masks.
Students and faculty members from four European universities used 3D modeling, VR, and AR to create new ways of interacting with objects from, among other sources, museum collections.
The project demonstrates how immersive technologies can not only document cultural heritage but also allow audiences to experience it from a completely new perspective.
At the festival, we’ll also see *Form / Nature* —an interactive installation by Zuzanna Gocławska and Natalia Ślusarska.
The work uses motion recognition technology. The image responds to the presence and gestures of the participants, allowing each viewer to become part of the live-generated environment.
This is one of the fields that particularly well illustrates the nature of contemporary artistic practices developed at the intersection of art, design, and technology.
The festival will also feature a TouchDesigner workshop led by Zuzanna Gocławska and Natalia Ślusarska.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of creating interactive visualizations and see how an image can respond to human movement.
