On July 26, the PJAIT campus will become a center of chess competition!
Data Science Club and the Association of Board Games invite you to an internal PJAIT Blitz 2025 tournament, organized by students, with students, alumni and employees of the university in mind.
Where. Hall A1 and Hall A of PJAIT, Warsaw
When? Saturday, July 26, 2025
Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Free pizza for all participants!
(For PJAIT students, alumni and staff)
Limit: 100 seats!
Program of the event
09:00-10: 00 - Participant registration and technical briefing
10:00-10:30 - Official tournament opening
10:30-12:30 - Rounds 1-4
12:30-14: 00 - Lunch break (pizza!) + thematic lecture: "The beauty of chess!" + competitions
14:00-16:00 - Rounds 5-8
16:00-16:30 - Prize-giving ceremony and end of the tournament
16:30-18:00 - Thematic lecture: "Artificial intelligence in chess"
Format: 8 rounds | Swiss system | pace 5+2
Prizes: Not only for top places in the tournament, but also for contests, quizzes and creative categories - even if you are not a chess master, you have a chance to win something!
