On April 3, 2025 , PJAIT's H.E. Rector Jerzy Pawel Nowacki, Ph.D., signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Hanoi College of Electro-Mechanics (HCEM), based in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Under the memorandum, a joint Training and Education Center was established, aimed at developing competencies in artificial intelligence, data analysis and robotics. The initiative is an important step in the development of academic relations between Poland and Vietnam and is part of the university's long-term internationalization strategy.

HCEM - the largest vocational college system in Vietnam

The Hanoi College of Electro-Mechanics is a renowned educational institution that has been in operation since 1972. It currently operates within seven campuses with modern teaching facilities, dormitories and laboratory facilities. The university boasts an impressive number of more than 100,000 graduate engineers, as well as close cooperation with global leaders in the technology industry, such as Toyota and Samsung.

Establishment of GLOVIA CENTER - a joint training center for AI and Data Science

As part of the implementation of the signed agreement, the GLOVIA CENTER - a Training and Education Center located on HCEM's second campus, at 111 Phan Trong Tue Street in the Thanh Tri district of Hanoi - was established. The center's name - which is an acronym for Global, Vision, Innovation, Artificial Intelligence - reflects its mission: to train modern professionals ready to meet the challenges of the global technology market.

GLOVIA CENTER's main goal is to prepare highly qualified engineers in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analysis and robotics. The training program involves the implementation of studies in a system of four semesters in Vietnam and three in Poland.

International staff and modern training program

The educational program was developed in cooperation with an international team of experts - lecturers and specialists from Poland, Japan, Australia, Canada and Vietnam. GLOVIA CENTER focuses on practical preparation of students for work in the rapidly growing sectors of the digital economy, promoting an innovative approach to teaching and developing a passion for technology.

The launch of GLOVIA CENTER is an important element of PJAIT's strategy to develop international cooperation and promote Polish higher education in Asian markets. The project also makes an important contribution to building lasting educational relations between Poland and Vietnam and supporting the development of engineering personnel in areas key to digital transformation.
