How are data, artificial intelligence, and new technologies transforming the automotive industry? How is the role of dealers and importers evolving in the digital age? Students in the “Technology and Management in the Automotive Industry” graduate program at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology will learn the answers to these and many other questions. OTOMOTO has become the program’s content partner.

The automotive industry is currently undergoing a major transformation. The digitization of sales, the development of artificial intelligence, the growing importance of data, electromobility, and changing customer expectations mean that companies need specialists and managers who can combine technological expertise with business skills.

The postgraduate program “Technology and Management in the Automotive Industry,” offered byCentre for Postgraduate Studies PJAIT , is a response to these changes. Thanks to its partnership with OTOMOTO, the program gains an additional, practical dimension based on up-to-date market knowledge, data analysis, and the expertise of specialists from one of Poland’s leading automotive platforms.

Knowledge Based on Data and Practice

One of the lecturers for the program will be Adam Simon, Senior Head of Business Development for Motors Professionals Europe at OTOMOTO, who will share with students his experience in areas such as the use of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence in the automotive sector.

“In the automotive industry, data is the new fuel today. Its value depends on the ability to draw accurate conclusions. At OTOMOTO, we do this every day. We want to show how we can use artificial intelligence and analytics to optimize sales and build customer relationships, ” says Adam Simon. – “Our goal is to equip attendees with tools they can implement in their work at a dealership, importer, or fleet company, ” he adds.

Thanks to OTOMOTO’s involvement, “ curriculum ” has taken on a practical dimension and is based on an analysis of the real-world challenges faced by the platform, which serves millions of users every month and collects data from over 230,000 listings. Workshops focused on a“data-driven”approach will be a key component of the curriculum; during these sessions, students will use the latest market data to analyze trends and design modern customer shopping journeys.

Skills for the Evolving Automotive Industry

– We are launching the “Technology and Management in the Automotive Industry” program because the automotive sector today needs leaders who can combine technological expertise and data analytics with management skills and an understanding of customers and the market. The automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation: digital sales channels, CRM systems, artificial intelligence, electromobility, new business models, and regulations are changing the way manufacturers, importers, and dealer networks operate. Innovations from the world’s most dynamic economies are also having an increasing impact on the European market, as clearly illustrated by the growing presence of affordable electric cars from Chinese brands. Under these conditions, operational experience alone is no longer sufficient—one must be able to identify trends, work with data, and translate technological changes into sound business decisions. Our partnership with OTOMOTO allows us to base our education on up-to-date market knowledge, real-world case studies, and the expertise of leading industry professionals. It also gives students the opportunity to exchange experiences and build a valuable professional network. “It is precisely through this model—combining the potential of the university with business practice—that we can prepare specialists and managers not only to respond to change, but also to consciously shape it,” says Marta Godzisz, director of the “ Centre for Postgraduate Studies ” program at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
