Cloud computing — a guide to cloud computing
We are slowly approaching the end of the academic year at PJAIT, a sign of which is the end of the series of lectures and meetings with Orange experts at our university. Thanks to the cooperation concluded in 2023 between PJAIT and Orange, we periodically host prominent specialists from Orange, who share their knowledge and experience with our students. We are committed to providing our students with regular opportunities to learn about the latest trends in various fields of technology.
This academic year we had the pleasure of hosting:
Anna Lewandowska, Director of Customer Experience and B2C Service, who discussed contemporary methods of researching customer needs and experiences, focusing on the importance of Customer Experience. She shared practices and tools used at Orange Polska to analyze and improve customer interactions.
Pawel Tuszynski, Head of the Research and Development Center Department, Orange Innovation Poland - this specialist presented the history of artificial intelligence, describing its evolution from its origins to modern applications. His lecture provided deep insight into the development of this technology and its impact on various aspects of life.
Wojciech Mac, Head of Artificial Intelligence Department, Orange Innovation Poland - Wojciech Mac talked about bots and their future. Together we wondered if and when they might become similar to humans.
Remigiusz Frank, Director of Digital Platforms at Orange Polska, who touched on the future of applications, platforms and robotization. He presented the directions of development of these technologies and their potential impact on the labor market and everyday life.
Michal Rosiak, Cyber Security Expert at CERT Orange Polska - this expert focused on network security issues. His lecture covered the latest cyber threats and the strategies and tools used to protect digital infrastructure.
Piotr Sobczyk, Director of Business Insights at Orange Poland, who discussed the future of data democratization, noting how access to and analysis of data can influence business decision-making and the development of new services.
Marta Skrzynecka, Cloud 2025 Program Leader - Marta presented the latest trends in the development of cloud computing and discussed the future of professions in this area. Her presentation showed the dynamic changes in the IT sector and the importance of the cloud in modern business.
Justyna Adamczewska, Director of Network Strategy and Development at Orange - this great specialist focused on the performance and reliability of digital networks, presenting the main challenges for network professionals. She also discussed the prospects for the development of network technologies and their key role in the digital world.
These meetings not only provided an extraordinary opportunity to explore key aspects of modern technologies and the challenges faced by professionals in the industry, but also provided support in taking the first steps in the world of IT for our students. But that's not all! Representatives of Orange Poland not only took part in our Job Fair PJAIT, but also organized an Employer Week with Orange at our university. During this event, students had the opportunity to learn about many internship offers, talk to recruiters and enjoy delicious coffee.
