On July 29, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed in Hanoi between the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJAIT) and the Hanoi College of Electro-Mechanics (HCEM). This marks the beginning of a joint engineering degree program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

The program includes four semesters in Vietnam and three in Poland. Classes will be taught in English, with an emphasis on practical preparation for work in high-tech sectors.

The GLOVIA CENTER, a state-of-the-art education and research center for AI, data analytics and robotics, has also been established in Hanoi and will become a local innovation hub.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Jerzy Pawel Nowacki, Rector of PJAIT, and Dr. Dong Van Ngoc, Rector of HCEM. The event was attended by representatives of both universities and Ms. Joanna Skoczek from the Polish Embassy in Hanoi, who stressed the importance of this initiative for academic cooperation between the countries.

The PJAIT rector concluded:

"This is not just a formal agreement, but a lasting bridge between Poland and Vietnam - between cultures, institutions and people."
