PJAIT CyberNight PJAIT Museum Night, May 16, 2026

On October 7, 2025, the Italian Cultural Institute hosted a conference on "Artificial intelligence in art and design schools: practical approaches and industry perspectives," which we had the honor of co-organizing with RUFA. Among the speakers were our experts.
The conference was opened by Fabio Troisi (director of the Italian Institute in Warsaw), Fabio Mongelli (GTA scientific coordinator), Elisa Poli (NABA scientific coordinator for GTA) and Marta Godzisz (director of the Centre for Postgraduate Studies, PJAIT). The introductory part also featured Fabio Pelagalli (NABA) and Dr. Anna Klimczak, Professor, PJAIT, and the opening lecture was given by philosopher Felice Cimatti, who addressed the role of the creator and artificial intelligence in the artistic process.
The event was divided into an introductory section and two panels. The first panel - Cultural Heritage - was devoted to the role of modern digital technologies in the preservation and development of cultural heritage and art education. The speakers were Paola Pisano (director of HighEsT Lab, former Minister of Innovation and Digitization of Italy), Michal Stefanowski (Dean of the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw) and Anna Szylar (curator and producer). The moderator was Patrizia Moschella (leader of the Communication and Graphic Design program at NABA).
The second panel - Industry, Media & Games - focused on the use of artificial intelligence in the creative, design, media and gaming industries. Participants included: Emanuele Panizzi (associate professor, La Sapienza University of Rome), Alessandro Chessa (NABA lecturer), Maciej Zemojcin (film and video production specialist), and Ewa Satalecka, PhD, PJAIT professor and dean of the Faculty of New Media Arts.
In the closing part of the event, Closing Remarks took place at 4:30 pm, followed by the opening of the exhibition at PJAIT at 5 pm. The day culminated with a lecture by Yelyzaveta Pysmak (PhD student, film and animation director, PJAIT), who talked about her work and the role of visual narrative in working with new technologies.
The conference became an inspiring platform for the exchange of experiences between representatives of art, design and technology universities, showing how artificial intelligence can support the creative process, education and the development of creative industries.
