The United Nations Institute for Training and Research is currently accepting applications for a program titled“Enhancing and Upgrading Digital Skills for Ukrainian Refugee Women in Poland and Internally Displaced Women in Ukraine.” 

Do you want to gain new digital skills and improve your prospects in the job market? UNITAR invites Ukrainian women—refugees living in Poland and internally displaced women in Ukraine—to participate ina free digital skills developmentprogram.

Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), geographic information systems (GIS), or AI programming in Python. The training sessions will be conducted online, allowing each participant to learn from a location of her choosing. The program offers not only training but also mentoring, consultations with experts, and the opportunity to develop her own project or business idea.

The top participants will take part inan international hackathon and a final conference, during which they will present their projects to potential employers, investors, and partners. This is a unique opportunity to develop the skills sought after in the job market, expand your professional network, and open yourself up to new career opportunities.

The call for proposals is open untilAugust 25, 2026.
