At the intersection of medicine and AI - meeting PJAIT with representatives of the medical sector

How can AI support the development of medicine?

Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology shows great interest in this issue. Therefore, within the walls of our university on 28.11.2024 met representatives of the medical sector, as well as lecturers and employees of PJAIT. 

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, the Military Clinical Hospital in Lublin, Mentor SA, as well as university representatives. The presentations were led by Adam Kuzdralinski, Ph.D., prof. PJAIT and Krzysztof Szklanny, Ph.D., prof. PJAIT. 

During the meeting, participants discussed the opportunities offered by AI tools in the context of medical diagnostics. Participants shared their experiences in research on this topic. Artificial intelligence solutions will be able to assist not only in diagnostics, but also in the development of new treatments. They can also support the logistical operations of hospitals.
