Marian Misiak is a typographer and font designer with a focus on research. He is the founder of the Threedotstype platform, which promotes Polish designers and distributes fonts rooted in cultural and historical contexts. He has collaborated with Grid Arthub, Ossolineum, and Slanted Publishers, among others, and co-founded the graphic design magazine PLOP.

Founded in Wrocław in 2017, Three Dots Type is one of the few independent platforms distributing digital typefaces from Poland. Its work focuses on typography that carries meaning—each font tells a story, drawing on specific cultural or technological phenomena.

The event will provide an opportunity to explore a design approach in which visual form is intertwined with research, narrative, and context.
