In the Bonar Gallery, Municipal House of Culture - House of Creative Environments in Lomza, from August 1 to September 6, one could see a group exhibition of first-year part-time students of graphic design at the Faculty of New Media Art at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw.

The work came to fruition in preparation for the art performance, which took place on May 17 of this year. Students of the painting studio led by Kaja Kozon took part in the exhibition. Students from all teaching groups independently chose the main themes of their works. The element imposed by the teaching staff was a theme taken directly from Japanese art and the use of ink technique based on teamwork.

The efforts put in by the students required not only a great deal of commitment, but also in-depth knowledge of the topic being undertaken. In the implementation of such a task, it becomes important to maintain individuality within the framework of group work. The restrictions imposed create space for the creation of a work rich in aesthetic qualities, which - despite the common composition - remains a carrier of individual creative expressions of individual authors.

The whole endeavor takes us to the eastern hemisphere of the world - to historical and mythical areas, opening up to the viewer the possibility of interacting with a culture with an extremely deep artistic tradition.
