There's less than a month left until the call for entries closes for this year's James Dyson Prize Competition, organized by the James Dyson Foundation. This is a challenge for imaginative students and recent graduates in engineering and design.

The competition's slogan is "Design something that solves a problem," and the current edition's theme is the promotion of sustainability. Thus, inventions created for the good of our planet will be welcome.

The starting point can be something annoying that we face on a daily basis, or a problem on a global scale. What is important is that the solution to the problem is effective and well thought out.

This year, winners of the national stages will each receive PLN 26,500, and their projects will win a prestigious award. International stage winners can win up to PLN 160,000.

Young innovators can submit their projects until July 19, 2023.
