Inclusive Design: How Can Technology (Not) Exclude People?
Less than a month remains until the submission deadline for this year's James Dyson Award competition, organized by the James Dyson Foundation. It is a challenge for inventive students and recent graduates in engineering and design fields.
The competition slogan is "Design something that solves a problem," and this year's edition focuses on promoting sustainable development. Therefore, inventions created for the good of our planet will be welcome.
The starting point can be something annoying that we struggle with daily or a global-scale problem. It is important that the problem-solving solution is effective and well thought out.
This year, national winners will receive PLN 26,500 each, and their projects will gain prestigious recognition. International stage winners can win up to PLN 160,000.
Young innovators can submit their projects until July 19, 2023.
