PJAIT lecturers are PJAIT of mapping in Stary Sącz

Polish-Japanese Cooperation on the Project: Data Collection Survey for Ukrainian IT Human Resource Development.
On 11th August 2023, the Data Collection Survey for Ukrainian IT Human Resource Development pilot project initiated by the Japanese government agency Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in collaboration with the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw (PJAIT) was officially closed.
The participants – refugees from Ukraine with a university education spent three weeks gaining skills in the web design tool Wordpress, the Excel spreadsheet and the Python programming language. The new IT competences are intended to allow them to re-brand and find a job on the Polish labor market.
The ceremony was opened by Prof. Dr. Maria Elzbieta Orlowska, Prorector of PJAIT
, and she welcomed the guests who graced the project closing gala with their presence, and emphasized the role of PJAIT in this endeavor. The project coordinator from the JICA side Mr. Hiroyuki Kanzaki, the course content coordinator and Python programming language lecturer Dominika Wnuk, and the Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science - Mr. Wojciech Dziedzic - also addressed the audience. The speakers expressed their appreciation to the course participants, and encouraged them to further develop and use the skills they have acquired. Representatives of the course participants also expressed their gratitude for sharing their knowledge.
During the project's closing gala, the most active participants, who had completed their courses with the best results, were honoured with certificates confirming the competences they had obtained.
