Purpose of the Gallery
The Gallery aims to present diverse art forms from interactive multimedia forms through traditional painting, printmaking, sculpture and installations. Exhibited are
individual and collective works by artists from Poland and abroad in cooperation with partner Universities and external institutions. The recipients of the exhibitions are mainly students of the University and external guests and for selected events occasional catalogs are printed and ceremonial vernissages or finissages are held.
Curators
The curators of the Media Gallery for many years have been Dr. Piotr Nowinski (Associate Dean of Graphic Design NeMA) and M.A. Piotr Sieciński (Associate Dean of Interior Design NeMA).

About the curator:
He graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2011, he received a doctoral degree from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 2005, he has been working at the Faculty of New Media Art at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Since December 2017, he has been the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of New Media Art. He leads the Multimedia Comics and 2D Games Studio and the Drawing Studio.
In 2017- 2021, he was the artistic curator of the International Painting Plein Air and Local Cultures Symposium in Stary Sacz. He is engaged in both teaching and artistic work: painting, drawing and graphic design. His artworks have participated in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, such as Romania, France, Japan, China and Germany. As of 2019, he is curator of the Medium gallery at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Technology
Piotr Sieciński (born 1979).
About the curator:
Graduate of the Interior Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He is involved in interior design as well as artistic drawing and painting. He is an assistant in Prof. Paweł Nowak's Drawing Studio at the Faculty of New Media Art and in Prof. Joanna Stefańska's Architectural Design Studio at the Faculty of Interior Design PJAIT in Warsaw.
Since 2011, he has been the curator of Gallery Medium, a faculty gallery of New Media Art PJAIT in Warsaw, where he is responsible for organizing exhibitions and multimedia shows of works by students and artists from Poland and abroad Since 2019, he has been the associate dean of the Interior Design Department at PJAIT. A special place in his work is painting, which is inspired by the relationship between man and nature. The way we shape and process our environment and the point where human activity meets nature are key elements of his works.

"TDC 70" exhibition
Description

Exhibition "aOmaging"
Description
The exhibition featured graphic, painting and sculpture works by artists and teachers of the Faculty of Art at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. The exhibition was the result of cooperation between the two Universities, which also resulted in an exhibition of didactics of the Faculty of Media Arts in Warsaw at the Gallery - Old Boilerhouse in Olsztyn.

Exhibition "Ornithographies Xavi Bou".
Description
An exhibition of photographs by a Spanish artist presenting his works from the Ornithographies series. The artist's works beautifully capture the intricate flight patterns of birds, combining art and science in a unique visual experience. The exhibition was further enhanced by an inspiring public conversation between Xavi Bou, Tomasz Chodkiewicz and Professor Krzysztof Szklanny, during which they explored the creative process and inspiration behind these stunning works.

"School of Not Knowing" exhibition
Description
The exhibition presents works from dozens of artistic universities from around the world, in which artists (artists,scientists and students) address the issue-what we don't know but are trying to find out and how we show/can show it in a way that is understandable to the "ordinary citizen." The project has been developing since January 2023 and has had unveilings in various cities: Milan, Florence, Rome, Porto, Paris.The initiators of the project are Prof. Susanna Cerri and Ruedi Baur.

Exhibition "Memory of wood - Pawel Armata"
Description
The remarkable works of Pawel Armata - graphic design, painter, sculptor - were presented. His works are created in recycled wood. From it he creates multidimensional abstract compositions with expressive structures and colors. Combining and mixing artistic techniques: painting, sculpture, graphics, collage, he tries to "refine what is seemingly noble no longer," while allowing the material to remain naturally organic. A lecture and meeting with the artist was organized during the grand opening.

The exhibition "Dreams from Paper and Ink. Don Quixote according to Marian Nowinski".
Description
During the exhibition, one could admire the works of an outstanding artist, creator and long-time Dean of the Faculty of New Media Art PJAIT in Warsaw, Prof. Marian Nowinski, whose great inspiration in his work was the literature of Cervantes. The exhibition was created with the cooperation of the Cervanes Institute in Warsaw, where the exhibition took place a few months earlier. Both exhibitions were part of cultural events related to Spain's presidency of the European Union.

TDC Books' exhibition
Description
A jubilee exhibition of the 10th anniversary of the TDC Archives at PJAIT, featuring books awarded at the TDC Annual Competition. The event was accompanied by a guest lecture by Carol Wahler, executive director of the Type Directors Club in New York.

"Type Text Korea" exhibition
Description
The exhibition was devoted to South Korean typographic poster art. The collection of more than 50 works presents a diverse and multifaceted approach to typography and typographic composition. The exhibition was part of the events of the 28th International Biennale in Warsaw.

"Matsuri" exhibition
Description
During the April edition of the Japanese festival of Matsurii, an exhibition of Japanese dolls and prints by artist Ka Mochi (Catherine Mochi) was presented at the University. The event was part of the promotion of the book "Matsurii" with illustrations by Ka Mochi. The event was held in cooperation with the Department of Japanese Culture at PJAIT in Warsaw.

"Synthesis 2022" exhibition
Description
This international exhibition featured works by educators and students from leading art universities in Poland and abroad, as well as invited guests. The exhibition was also presented at universities in Szczecin, Lodz, Poznan, Lodz and Ancona, Italy.

Exhibition "This way to the future - Czech Days"
Description
An interactive exhibition presenting the response of Czech artists to current social problems was part of the cultural events of the Czech Days in Warsaw. The event was organized in cooperation with the Czech Center in Warsaw.

Exhibition "Nomad"
Description
The exhibition as part of the presentation of the Nomad project, Czech designers Eduard Hermann and Matej Coufal. During the vernissage, a meeting with the authors was held, which at the same time was a summary of the workshops conducted by the designers with students of Interior Design NeMA in Warsaw. The event was organized in cooperation with the Czech Center in Warsaw.

"No War" exhibition
Description
The poster exhibition presents an international collection of works addressing issues of peace and opposition to aggression and war. The works come from the collection of the Ogaki Poster Museum in Ogaki, Japan, which has made an appeal to the international design community, thus creating the highly topical and important "No War" collection. The exhibition in Warsaw presents more than 120 posters selected by the Ogaki Museum, some of which will be presented in traditional form and some on monitors.

Description

Exhibition "Roman Duszek"
Description
The exhibition presented the designs of prominent Polish graphic design Professor Roman Duszek and was part of the promotion of Professor Roman Duszek's autobiography "Spiral. Zwierzenia projektanta". During the grand opening, a meeting with the author was held, hosted by Prof. Ewa Satalecka.

Description

Czech Innovation Expo" exhibition
Description
The exhibition, in cooperation with the Czech Center in Warsaw, presented in an interactive way the achievements and inventions of Czech scientists over the years. The exhibition was part of cultural events organized as part of the Czech presidency of the European Union.

"Eri Suenaga and Ryousaki Miyasaki" exhibition.
Description
Paintings by two Japanese artists were presented and a workshop was held with students, demonstrating the Japanese art of painting on paper.
