The ESAD - College of Art and Design Matosinhos in Porto is currently hosting an exhibition titled "From Museum to Theater," the preparation of which involved, among others, didacticians and students from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology.

The exhibition presents the results of an interdisciplinary educational project that aimed to take a new look at European cultural heritage related to masks through the use of new technologies and creative interpretation. The project brought together students and faculty from the fields of architecture, graphic design and interior design, who collaborated with experts in ethnography, archaeology, anthropology, philology, history and the performing arts.

The exhibition presents selected projects focusing on the public presentation of ancient Greek masks and Portuguese and Polish folk masks through innovative technological applications, as well as the results of the creative process.

Workshops

The exhibition also included workshops in Lipari, Warsaw and Krakow, as well as Porto.

Each combined study visits, lectures, group discussions and meetings with scientists and experts, and concluded with public presentations and feedback sessions.
