We invite you to the sixth WSAG meeting, which will once again be held at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.

The program will feature presentations on the obsolescence of the incremental software development model in the world of Scrum and on training Stable Diffusion to generate images locally or in the cloud. The third presentation will be announced shortly.

This is a great opportunity to meet software architects, exchange knowledge, and continue building the local community.

Program of the event

How has the incremental software development model aged, and why doesn't anyone talk about it anymore now that we have Scrum?
Ola Kucharska

The incremental model has a longer history than one might think, and its principles were already being applied in the 1960s. During this talk, we’ll look at its development, its relationship to the agile approach, and why—even in a world of sprints—it’s still worth reminding ourselves that Scrum and the incremental model are not the same thing.

From Selfies to AI: How to Teach Stable Diffusion to Recognize Your Face—and More
Piotr Stapp

Is it possible to train an AI to generate your own face in a specific style? During this technical session, Piotr Stapp will demonstrate how to train Stable Diffusion to generate specific images locally or in the cloud. The session will be hands-on, with a bit of theory and concrete examples.
