Will bots replace humans? A meeting with Wojciech Mac, a specialist from Orange Polska

What a meeting it was! On March 7, we hosted the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department of Orange Innovation Poland - Wojciech Mac - at our university as part of one of the meetings in the #SwitchFuture series. Students did not disappoint, as many as 60 people came to talk about technologies of the future.

The specialist introduced the attendees to the fascinating history of bots. He talked about their evolution and shared his deep knowledge of the systems that guide the bots as we know them. He then launched into an interesting discussion of an almost philosophical nature, asking the question, do we think bots are intelligent and do they act with intention? This question prompted the attendees to reflect and actively exchange opinions. Conversations continued even after the meeting ended, and Mr. Wojciech Mac answered many more questions from interested people. We sincerely thank you for imparting such a large dose of knowledge to our students!
