An artistic and educational meeting with students, lecturers and invited experts from Poland's leading art schools is being held in Sokolowsk from October 23-29. The event takes the form of an intensive week of work, talks and presentations, dedicated to reflecting on contemporary art practice and exchanging experiences among participants.

On the first day, participants arrive in Sokolovsk, where there is accommodation and a joint dinner. This is the time to get acquainted with the place and the program for the whole week.

Friday marks the beginning of the first lectures and workshops. Ada Piekarska led a meeting on self-narration and ways of telling about one's creative practice. Bozenna Biskupska gave participants a tour of Sokolowsk and the International Culture Laboratory. This was followed by an afternoon workshop on defining one's self in the art community. The day ended with a lecture by Piotr Bosacki.

Student presentations are being held today (Saturday) and tomorrow. Students from universities in Wroclaw, Lodz, Warsaw, Katowice, Poznan and Szczecin present their works and projects. The presentations are accompanied by discussions with the presenters and other participants. In the evening there will be a special lecture by Marta Czyż on contemporary curatorial practices and reflections on the language of art.

On Monday, participants will meet for consultations and one-on-one discussions, and then begin assembling the final exhibition. The exhibition takes the form of an open presentation of questions, concepts and ideas that emerged throughout the week. The opening of the exhibition will take place in the evening.

On Tuesday, participants will attend lectures by Zuzanna Fogtt, on the functioning of artist residencies and scholarship programs, and Katarzyna Roj, who will speak about alternative forms of art presentation. The day will have a concluding and integrative character.

On Wednesday, after having breakfast together, the participants will leave Sokolovsko. The week of meetings will end in an atmosphere of exchange, reflection and openness
