Avant-Garde Film Academy

We are pleased to announce that starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, PJAIT has established cooperation with the Avant-Garde Film Academy, which offers paid lectures and screenings concerning experimental cinema and contemporary art. These classes can be an interesting supplement to course lectures for students of the Faculty of New Media Art.

We warmly invite everyone interested to the second episode of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology podcast – "At the Beginning...". Success of NeMA graduates at the 13th Triennial of Polish Woodcut and Linocut 2023

We are pleased to announce that the works of our graduates, Aleksandra Błaszczuk and Marta Dawidiuk, have been qualified for the 13th Triennial of Polish Woodcut and Linocut 2023. The artworks were created in the Printmaking Studio under the supervision of dr hab. Andrzej Kalina, prof. PJAIT and were part of their diploma projects. The opening of the post-competition exhibition will take place on November 17, 2023, at the Bureau of Art Exhibitions in Olsztyn. "Artists' Cinema. From Méliès to Maciunas" is the latest academic book by Prof. Marcin Giżycki (1951-2022). The meeting on October 12, 2023, will be dedicated not only to this publication, but also to its author, his academic research, and his artistic work. Additionally, a screening of selected films by Prof. Giżycki will take place.
