We cordially invite you to an open lecture by Prof. Roman Słowiński, Ph.D., Eng., titled “The Evolution of Multiple Criteria Decision Aiding Under the Influence of the Artificial Intelligence Paradigm,” which will take place on April 9, 2026, at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw.

Prof. Roman Słowiński is one of Poland’s most distinguished scholars in the fields of computer science, operations research, and intelligent decision support systems. He is a professor at Poznań University of Technology and the Institute of Systems Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a full member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and served as vice president of the Polish Academy of Sciences from 2019 to 2022. He is also the founder of an internationally recognized research school and the author of over 550 publications.

The lecture will focus on the evolution of multi-criteria decision support and the changes brought about in this field by the development of the artificial intelligence paradigm. The meeting will provide an opportunity to reflect on current research trends and applications of decision support methods in the rapidly changing world of technology.
