On June 19, 2026, PJAIT an international expert seminar on issues related to the internationalization of higher education, with a focus on the operation of doctoral schools. The event is part of efforts to build and develop international cooperation between the ICT & Design Doctoral School and doctoral schools abroad.
The event will be hosted by:
- Rama Gheerawo, President of EIDD – Design for All Europe and founder of INSTILL Global;
- Prof. Ralf Dillerup, Chair of the Heilbronn University Graduate School
In addition, the invited guests will include experts from Poland and abroad, directors of doctoral schools from highly internationalized European institutions, and representatives of other academic institutions carrying out projects under the STER NAWA program.
The event will feature panel discussions, networking, and lectures. Our goal is to develop the scientific and research potential of the ICT & Design Doctoral School through collaboration and the exchange of experiences and best practices with doctoral schools of our European partners, including in the area of creating joint international doctoral programs.

Instructors:
Rama Gheerawo is an internationally recognized expert in inclusive design, creative leadership, and innovation, as well as one of the leading voices at the intersection of design, education, and social impact. As President of EIDD – Design for All Europe and founder of INSTILL Global, he supports organizations and leaders in creating inclusive, innovative, and human-centered models of operation. For many years, he served as Director of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art, where he led groundbreaking projects in collaboration with the public sector, business, healthcare, and education.
As a highly regarded speaker and advisor, he has spoken on five continents, inspiring thousands of leaders to rethink leadership and change. He is also the author of *Creative Leadership: How to Design the 21st-Century Organization*, in which he explains how to build more empathetic, creative, and forward-thinking organizations.
Prof. Dr. Ralf Dillerup is a recognized expert in the fields of strategic management, innovation, and institutional development. He has been affiliated for many years with Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, one of Europe’s most international universities. His research and teaching focus on, among other things, development strategies, innovation, and management in an international context, with a particular emphasis on the role of universities in building global knowledge ecosystems. He is actively involved in advancing research and doctoral education in the context of internationalization and inter-institutional cooperation.
As a researcher and academic leader, he brings a valuable perspective on the strategic management of doctoral programs, the internationalization of research, and the creation of conditions conducive to the development of young researchers in a global academic environment. His experience encompasses both the development of institutional policies and the practical implementation of international cooperation models that enhance the quality of doctoral education and academic mobility. The seminar is organized as part of the STER NAWA Program—Internationalization of Doctoral Schools—within the project titled “Internationalized ICT & Design Doctoral School: A Set of Activities for the Internationalization of Education and Research at the ICT & Design Doctoral School.”
