PJAIT in the magazine "European Funds in Mazovia"

In the latest issue of the "European Funds in Mazovia" magazine, you will learn about the most interesting digitization-related projects subsidized by the regional program. Among them is also the one implemented by our academy - Implementation of modern electronic services in the area of improving the quality of education at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.

A generation is entering the market for services, including public services, that finds an activity requiring five clicks at least three "clicks" too long and tiresome... This must change," has no doubt Ewa Janczar, who has been involved in the digital transformation of Mazovia for 20 years. Read the conversation E-services must be simple (or there will be none)

The level of maturity of an e-service and its usefulness is not related to the education of the user. Such a service is supposed to make it possible to get things done in the easiest way. After all, e-services are used by citizens and entrepreneurs, not by officials who have a background and daily contact with administrative procedures. E-government is supposed to "lead the citizen by the hand." What mistakes should be avoided in its design and what principles are worth applying?

I don't think anyone needs to be convinced that a well-developed digital infrastructure, based on high-speed Internet connectivity, opens up new opportunities for learning, working, gaining knowledge and realizing one's ambitions, as well as entertainment. The EU Digital Strategy and the European Green Deal are two of the six priorities of the Ursula von der Leyen-led European Commission for 2019-2024. Importantly, they complement and drive each other. Indeed, digitization is expected to help Europe achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Digital technologies can make a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the European Green Deal by effectively optimizing production, reducing emissions and waste.
