The level of maturity of an e-service and its usefulness is not related to the education of the user. Such a service is supposed to make it possible to get things done in the easiest way. After all, e-services are used by citizens and entrepreneurs, not by officials who have a background and daily contact with administrative procedures. I don't think anyone needs to be convinced that a well-developed digital infrastructure, based on high-speed Internet connectivity, opens up new opportunities for learning, working, gaining knowledge and realizing one's ambitions, as well as entertainment. The EU Digital Strategy and the European Green Deal are two of the six priorities of the Ursula von der Leyen-led European Commission for 2019-2024. Importantly, they complement and drive each other. Indeed, digitization is expected to help Europe achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Digital technologies can make a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the European Green Deal by effectively optimizing production, reducing emissions and waste.
