In Mazovia, it pays off to study computer science at PJAIT

The academic year has just begun, but many students may already be wondering whether they made the right choice of studies. Will their chosen field of study pay off in the future and provide a good salary? If you are studying at PJAIT, the answer is YES.

This is confirmed by Graduate Economic Tracking (ELA) – a database containing data on, among others, graduate earnings in the first year after graduation. Salaries are presented as gross amounts taking into account all sources of income. The indicator representing their level is the median, which is the value that divides graduates into two halves. Half of them earn more than the median, and half earn less than the median.

The Mazowieckie Voivodeship is among the seven voivodeships where computer science reigns supreme. In the ranking of the ten fields of study with the highest median earnings in this part of Poland, as many as two fields of study at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology made it to the top 5! Graduates of information management can boast earnings exceeding 10,000 PLN gross. Even higher salaries are received by graduates of computer science, who earn over 11,000 PLN gross a year after graduation.
