Did you know that cybersecurity is extremely popular among our students? In addition to the high level of interest in the cybersecurity specialization,PJAIT is also home to thePJAIT PJSEC Cybersecurity Research Club, which brings together a large group of students passionate about IT security. Club members meet regularly, organizing weekly lectures and actively developing their skills across nine thematic sections covering various areas of cybersecurity.

On April 11, 2026, the final exam for the Introductory Course of the Red Team, Blue Team, and Cryptology sections of the PJSEC Cybersecurity Research Club was held. The course consisted of a full month of intensive study in the areas relevant to each section:
Red Team – Penetration testing methodology, network scanning, and application vulnerability assessment;
Blue Team – Securing IT systems, analyzing and responding to cybersecurity incidents;
Cryptology – Classical and asymmetric encryption algorithms, ensuring data integrity and the authenticity of digital signatures.

The PJSEC Chapter will be organizing additional Introductory Courses for more sections at the beginning of the next semester. This series of intensive classes, held over the course of one month, is designed to prepare candidates for further activities within the sections and to enhance members’ skills.
