Spring is here outside, and spring has arrived at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology! Folk "spiders" are chandelier-like decorations that were hung on the eastern wall of the living room. These spiders, also known as "kierce," bring good luck and prosperity wherever they appear. They are made from natural materials: straw, yarn, frayed canvas, and paper. They were found throughout Poland. The spiders took on various shapes, ranging from simple crystalline forms to very complex, intricate structures. Success of PJAIT students PJAIT a competition for animation for an international museum exhibition

Students Anna Jarczyk and Barbara Gandys from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology achieved significant artistic success, winning first place in the animation competition entitled "The Conspiracy Against the Tsar on March 1, 1887." The winning work was presented on February 4, 2026, as part of the BRONISŁAW PIŁSUDSKI gallery within the international temporary exhibition "Soul Between Worlds. Maintains Mountains 2026

On January 19, 2026, a series of workshops entitled "mAIntains mOUntains" began, aimed at creating a set of tangible and intangible results that will contribute to a deeper theoretical understanding and practical implementation of post-event mountain resilience. Over the next week, the "mAIntains mOUntains" project will bring together students and teachers from across Europe to embark on a joint project journey dedicated to the resilience of mountains in the aftermath of major global events, with a particular focus on the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics [...].
