General information
Launched in 2018, the ICT&Psychology program, an Inter-University Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program combining computer science and psychology, was jointly run by the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology together with SWPS University. The language of instruction was English, which translated into higher skills of doctoral students and a set of dissertations written in this language.
The combination of these two seemingly disparate disciplines has resulted from the increasing use of technology in the area of emotions and feelings. Technological developments have had an increasing impact on psychology by assisting it with new working tools.
