The program in this field of study is conducted in English.
Graphic design and multimedia art is all about practicing and developing design and artistic skills by using modern applications to create visual works in 2D and 3D environments. Students in the course work on projects on a daily basis using Unity, Blender, Maya, TouchDesigner and Adobe CC software. Realistic cooperation between friendly institutes and cultural units gives the opportunity to create attractive and unique visual, light, music and interactive creations.
By the end of the third semester, students are working in accordance with the main curriculum, which is designed to prepare students to become fluent in the use of design tools. Graduate theses in graphic design and multimedia art are chosen in the fourth semester of study.
Students who narrow down their interests towards interactive design based on individual artistic expression created using the latest digital technologies acquire and develop comprehensive knowledge and skills in the area of the language of new media, as well as the ability to build creative artistic statements.
Students narrowing their focus towards computer game design and animation will also familiarize themselves with the testing and iteration process, which will help them understand the difference between games as artistic projects and games as consumer products. Students will learn advanced game design and creation techniques. They will then apply advanced design methods and iteration techniques to refine their projects. Final student projects are uploaded to the internal PJAIT server to be presented and deployed as products in the gaming market.
The aim of the subject is to create a diploma thesis based on an individual artistic statement created using the latest digital technologies. Those who choose this subject acquire and develop comprehensive knowledge and skills in the area of new media language, as well as the ability to construct creative artistic statements.
