Learn about the interior design program at PJAIT!
The study programme covers various issues within the broad area of applied arts. Students learn both the principles of design using modern and advanced technologies and design for craftsmanship using simpler technologies. Classes in interior design, exhibition design, and furniture design studios focus on the practical resolution of design problems, with a strong emphasis on technical implementation.
Project classes in major subjects are accompanied by practical exercises and lectures covering the following areas: architectural and construction, structural and installation, technical implementations, exhibition techniques, ergonomics and psychophysiology of vision, light and color issues, as well as computer techniques and computer-aided design.
The core educational path in major subjects is complemented by art classes (sculpture, drawing, painting). This enables students to acquire the skills to use various means of expression, such as building an artistic language according to their interests and the logic of shape.
After completing the 6th semester of full-time studies, students choose a specialization and, under the supervision of a supervisor, create a bachelor's thesis project within the area of the following specializations:
• interior design;
• exhibition design.

Who to become after graduation?
The graduate's acquired qualifications—artistic, professional, and technical—are the result of a proven and continuously improved curriculum at interior architecture departments in Poland. They cover specializations in the area of interior design, exhibition design, and furniture design.
After completing the fourth semester, students choose their area of interest and, under the supervision of a supervisor, create a bachelor's thesis project. Parallel to the core classes, English language exercises are conducted, as well as optional classes in French, Spanish, Japanese, or German.
The acquired skills will allow interior architecture graduates to run their own independent practice as well as work in architectural teams or design studios in Poland and abroad.
