Admission Process at PJAIT
1. Online registration
Create an account on the enrolment portal: rekrutacja.pjwstk.edu.pl
You will receive an activation link, and after activating your account you will get access to your profile. Fill out the forms and obligatorily upload your photo (format: ID photo / passport photo). Be sure to select field of study for which you are applying.
2. Provision of documents
Prepare the required documents, save them in.pdf format, upload the relevant files to the recruitment portal.
Required Documents:
- Application for admission - the completed form can be downloaded from your profile in the recruitment portal after uploading a digital proof photo. Candidates who do not upload a photo will not be able to download the application from the portal. Remember to sign the application! Applications with an inappropriate photo will not be accepted;
- High school diploma - the applicant uploads a legible, color scan. After receiving the admission decision, he presents the original, a copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public;
- proof of payment for the interview (PLN 150). Payment to the individual account number - visible on your recruitment profile.
Candidates who hold a foreign diploma
Required Documents:
- Application for admission - the completed form can be downloaded from your profile in the recruitment portal after uploading a digital proof photo. Candidates who do not upload a photo will not be able to download the application from the portal. Remember to sign the application! Applications with an inappropriate photo will not be accepted;
- A photocopy of an identity document (passport);
- High school diploma/certificate (entitling to start studies). The candidate uploads a legible, color scan to his/her recruitment profile, and after receiving the decision, presents the original, a photocopy certified by a Polish notary or a notary acting in one of the EU countries;
- proof of payment for the interview (PLN 150). Payment to the individual account number - visible on your recruitment profile;
- certificate of knowledge of Polish at a minimum level of B2. Exemptions from language verification – check . In the absence of the required certificate, the level of Polish will be verified during the interview;
- *translation of diploma - holders of diplomas issued in Polish, English and Ukrainian are exempt from translation;
- *apostille/legalization of diploma - holders of diplomas issued by the following countries are exempt: European Union and EFTA countries, Australia, Belarus, Canada, Ukraine, USA, UK;
- **Written decision of the Director of NAWA confirming eligibility to apply for admission to studies/nostrification of certificate.
*Document necessary to obtain a qualification decision.
**From July 1, 2025, foreign certificates must be recognized by the Director of NAWA as entitling the student to begin first-level studies in Poland. This does not apply to certificates issued by countries of the European Union, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China.

3. Studies qualification
Admissions are based on the presentation of a "portfolio" of artwork and an interview.
Interviews full-time are held at the University's campus.
Online interviews are only for Foreigners who are not in Poland.
In order to sign up for an interview, the candidate is required to pay it in the amount of PLN 150, and then after the Admission Office accepts the payment, select the appropriate date in the portal.
The candidate must sign up for an interview (through the enrolment portal).
On the day of the interview, the candidate brings with him/her a PORTFOLIO. The portfolio of work includes:
minimum 10 pieces, format 50x70cm or 70x100cm
The painting works presented in the portfolio should be made from nature and include: figure study, still life, landscape, interior.

Online conversations for Foreigners residing outside of Poland.
The portfolio should not exceed 25MB, a minimum of 100DPI and be in one PDF file. You should add a detailed description of the works (format, execution technique, title and date of creation). The PDF file with the portfolio must be uploaded a minimum of 3 business days before the interview date to your profile on the recruitment portal.
The online interview will take place on the Google Meet platform - an email Gmail account is required. Knowledge of the Polish language will be verified during the interview.
The results of the interviews will be published within 1 business day after the interview.
We would like to remind you that the decision on qualification for studies is made only after meeting all formal requirements, i.e.: registration, providing a set of required documents and successfully passing the interview.
Once all the conditions described above have been fulfilled, academy has two weeks to send a decision on eligibility for the study.
The university conducts free consultations of "portfolios" with artwork.
4. contract, payment and delivery of original documents
A contract is made available along with the qualification decision. Both documents are downloadable from the recruitment profile.
Candidates qualified for the study are required within 2 weeks:
1. pay the first installment of tuition fees. Payments should be made to the individual account number available on the profile in the recruitment system.
2. sign a contract with the University. A contract is a type of agreement that specifies PJAIT 's obligations to you and yours to PJAIT. Once completed and signed, it must be uploaded to your enrollment profile. The contract must be scanned legibly into a .pdf file, keeping the pages in order.
3. deliver the original high school diploma to the Recruitment Department. The candidate is obliged to present the original matriculation certificate, its copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public. High school diploma can also be sent by mail (registered mail) or courier. The above document can also be provided by a "third party" such as a parent.
Candidates from abroad who will need a certificate of commencement of studies in order to obtain/renew a visa, residence card are required to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester in advance.
If your studies are paid for by your employer, for example, you can sign a contract with a University-Sponsor-Student annex. At the time of signing the contract, please make this request.
Note: candidates signing a contract a week before the end of the recruitment period PJAIT does not guarantee the issuance of an ID card and the activation of an account on the University's server before the start of classes.
5. Certificate of admission
In order to obtain a "Certificate of admission of a foreigner to study "* (a document necessary to legalize the stay in Poland) it is necessary to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester. At the request of the candidate, the certificate is sent to the e-mail in the form of a scan. Candidates who need the original certificate must send the request to rekrutacja@pja.edu.pl with the full postal address indicated.

Zero NMA Course (Polish language course)
Course Zero is a special program aimed at people who want to apply to Faculty of New Media Art and in the future develop their passions and opportunities at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology.
The program is designed to prepare candidates for entrance exams and familiarize them with the educational process undertaken in the first year of study. The course includes two semesters of classes (420 academic hours), during which future students will create their digital and traditional portfolios under the guidance of staff from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology. Our experienced instructors will also prepare future candidates for interviews.
