The TDC Archive is a repository where we collect the winning projects from the TDC Annual Competition. This collection, which has been growing for over 12 years, is made available to the general public through traveling exhibitions across Central Europe and Scandinavia. Currently, we are presenting the award-winning projects in Warsaw (PJAIT, MSN), Gdańsk (PJAIT, ASP), Kraków (ASP), Lublin (Dom Słów), Łódź (Museum of the Book), and Poznań (UA), as well as in collaboration with international partners (Copenhagen, Stockholm).

The TDC Archive also conducts educational activities, promoting the TDC collection.

Why? Because we want to be ambassadors of a flagship value for the Type Directors Clubambassadors of typographic excellence.

TDC Winners Interviews

The TDC Archive Collection is also used as a teaching tool in the Elements of Visual Communication Theory (EVCT) classes, led by PhD Monika Marek-Łucka.

This is a year-long course designed for 1st-year students of Graphic Design & Multimedia Art. Students are tasked with critically analyzing a selected project awarded in the current edition of the TDC Awards. They conduct thorough research, contact and interview designers, and create short films presenting their take on the chosen project. The result is an open database of educational materials. By incorporating the TDC collection into the educational system, students not only learn from the best practitioners worldwide, but also have the opportunity to practice attitudes and skills useful in their professional careers, such as proactivity, responsibility, and high communication culture.
