The TDC Archive is the place where we collect projects awarded in the TDC Annual Competition. The collection, which has been created for more than 10 years, is made available to the general public during so-called traveling exhibitions. Currently, we present the awarded projects in Warsaw, Gdansk (PJAIT), Krakow (ASP), Lublin (House of Words), Lodz (Book Museum), and Poznan (UA).

The TDC Archive also conducts educational activities to promote the TDC collection.

Why? Because we want to be ambassadors of the flagship value for the Type Directors Club - ambassadors of typographic excellence.

EVCT course

The TDC Archive collection is also used as a teaching tool in the Elements of Visual Communication Theory (EVCT) class, taught by Dr. Monika Marek-Lucka.

This is a year-long course designed for 1st year students majoring in Graphic Design & Multimedia Art. Students are tasked with a critical study of a selected design awarded in the current TDC Awards. They do diligent research, contact and interview designers, and create short films in which they confront the selected design. The result is an open database of educational materials. By integrating the TDC collection into the education system, students not only learn from the best practitioners from around the world, but also have the opportunity to practice attitudes and skills useful in their careers, i.e. proactivity, responsibility, or a high culture of communication.
