On June 20th, a ceremony was held to award certificates of completion of the Akademia Programowania WP course. The course was created especially for our students and conducted by the professional IT team of WP – the flagship partner of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
During Akademia Programowania WP students have been learning GO programming, as well as project management and team communication – skills desired in today's job market.
We would like to thank WP employees who were conceptually and organizationally responsible for creating the course: Radoslaw Dzierzedzki, HR BP, Pawel Milewski, VP Post and 1Login from WP, Pawel Karaszewski, VP IT, Aleksandra Rabenda, IT Project Management Director, Andrzej Butkiewicz, IT Manager, Aleksandra Radziewska-Wyłudek, Recruitment and EB Team Leader, Iwona Stutzka, Senior Recruitment Specialist.
We would also like to thank immensely Ms Marta Godzisz and Marta Zofia Myszewska from PJAIT for their cooperation with WP .
During the course's closing event, the curriculum was presented as well as the result of the participants' work – a game of Battleships. It was a real live esports match, not only with an eagerly cheering audience, but also with WP sports commentator Marcin Musiał.
The event was honored with the presence of Rector of PJAIT dr hab. Jerzy Paweł Nowacki, Chancellor of PJAIT Maciej Rembarz, MA, members of the WP board, lecturers, course participants and invited guests.
The course was a great success and we are already inviting students to the next edition. We are happy that PJAIT together with WP can create an extraordinary opportunity for student's development under the guidance of specialists and give them a chance to start a career in a very good Polish technology company.
