EUonAIR, an international research and development project, is an initiative dedicated to introducing artificial intelligence (AI) into curricula and promoting academic mobility across Europe. Aimed at developing the MyAI virtual campus, the project aims to create innovative solutions that will contribute to AI-based education. The project is scheduled to begin in January 2025 and is expected to run for four years, with a budget of €14.4 million.
EUonAIR consists of 10 core partners and 5 associate members from various countries, including Poland, Germany, Croatia, Spain, Lithuania, France, Luxembourg, Greece, Ukraine, Switzerland, Estonia and Italy. The project's partners are renowned institutions that are working together to transform the educational landscape in Europe through the implementation of modern AI technologies. The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is a leader among technical schools in the aforementioned project.
The EUonAIR project, which won the highest rating from the European Commission as part of the European Universities 2024 Erasmus+ initiative, aims to improve the quality of education through the integration of artificial intelligence. The initiative is coordinated by Prof. Aleksandra Przegalinska and Prof. Izabela Grabowska of Kozminski University.
The European Commission recognized the project for its potential to create a new kind of university, implement AI processes in higher education in an inclusive and ethical way, and for its importance in bridging the skills gap needed for Europe's green and digital transformation.
The European Universities 2024 Erasmus+ program is an ambitious effort to facilitate alliances between higher education institutions. The program benefits students, staff and society by developing long-term, structural, strategic and sustainable cooperation within European alliances. The initiative aims to improve the international competitiveness of higher education in Europe and promote European values and identity.
