Studying via the Internet at PJAIT is an education that allows students to work on material provided by teaching instructors at any time through the university's system - Edux. With the Edux platform, students study off-site at PJAIT and do not have classes on campus.
Students have a compulsory Exam Session and lab session at the end of the semester, which takes place on the university's premises.

Recruitment for the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year began on May 5, 2025.


1. for first semester students mandatory Meeting in the second half of September 2025 - the implementation of the course "Introduction to Information Systems" (WSI) will be held stationary at PJAIT. More details after logging into the Edux system. 

2. online classes start in October - materials are available after logging on the EDUx educational platform.

Studies of the first degree (engineering) part-time with the use of methods and techniques of distance education (online) Polish-language

Candidates are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis after online registration and submission of a set of documents, and there is no limit on seats.

For foreigners with a high school diploma issued by countries outside: EU, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China it is necessary to take the entrance exam (it is possible to pass online). We will provide details about the exam soon.

Admission Process at PJAIT


1. Online registration

Create an account on the enrolment portal: rekrutacja.pjwstk.edu.pl 

You will receive an activation link, and after activating your account you will get access to your profile. Fill out the forms and obligatorily upload your photo (format: ID photo / passport photo). Be sure to select field of study for which you are applying. 


2. Provision of documents

Prepare the required documents, save them in.pdf format, upload the relevant files to the recruitment portal.

Candidates who hold a Polish baccalaureate (high school diploma), an IB (International Baccalaureate Diploma) or an EB (European Baccalaureate) diploma

Required Documents:

  1. Application for admission - the completed form can be downloaded from your profile in the recruitment portal after uploading a digital proof photo. Candidates who do not upload a photo will not be able to download the application from the portal. Remember to sign the application! Applications with an inappropriate photo will not be accepted;
  2. High school diploma - the applicant uploads a legible color scan. After receiving the admission decision, he presents the original, a copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public.

Candidates who hold a foreign diploma

Required Documents:

  1. Application for admission - the completed form can be downloaded from your profile in the recruitment portal after uploading a digital proof photo. Candidates who do not upload a photo will not be able to download the application from the portal. Remember to sign the application! Applications with an inappropriate photo will not be accepted;
  2. A photocopy of an identity document (passport);
  3. High school diploma/certificate (entitling to start studies). The candidate uploads a legible, color scan to his/her recruitment profile, and after receiving the decision, presents the original, a photocopy certified by a Polish notary or a notary acting in one of the EU countries;
  4. Certificate of proficiency in the Polish language at a minimum level of B2. Exemptions from language verification - check. In the absence of the required certificate, the level of Polish will be verified during a language interview (cost is PLN 100, proof of payment must be uploaded to the recruitment portal);
  5. *translation of diploma - holders of diplomas issued in Polish, English and Ukrainian are exempt from translation;
  6. *apostille/legalization of diploma - holders of diplomas issued by the following countries are exempt: European Union and EFTA countries, Australia, Belarus, Canada, Ukraine, USA, UK;
  7. **Written decision of the NAWA Director confirming eligibility to apply for admission to studies/nostrification of certificate;
  8. Passed the entrance exam - applies to holders of certificates issued outside the EU, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China.

**From July 1, 2025, foreign certificates must be recognized by the Director of NAWA as entitling the student to begin first-level studies in Poland. This does not apply to certificates issued by countries of the European Union, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China.

NOTE: Foreigners who wish to study at a Polish-language university must have at least a Polish language certificate at the B2 level. In the absence of a certificate or if the level of the certificate is lower than B2, the candidate may take an online language interview. The cost of the language interview is 100 PLN.

In order to sign up for a language interview, the candidate is required to select the appropriate date during online registration. Deadlines on the recruitment portal appear on a regular basis. The online interview will take place on the Google Meet platform - it is required to have an email on the Gmail account.


3. Studies qualification

Within two weeks of submitting the complete set of required documents (passing the language interview and the entrance exam, if required), you will receive information to your email address provided at registration that the admission decision is ready for download from the recruitment portal.


4. contract, payment and delivery of original documents

A contract is made available along with the qualification decision. Both documents are downloadable from the recruitment profile.

Candidates qualified for the study are required within 2 weeks: 

1. pay the first installment of tuition fees. Payments should be made to the individual account number available on the profile in the recruitment system.

2. sign a contract with the University. A contract is a type of agreement that specifies PJAIT 's obligations to you and yours to PJAIT. Once completed and signed, it must be uploaded to your enrollment profile. The contract must be scanned legibly into a .pdf file, keeping the pages in order.

3. deliver the original high school diploma to the Recruitment Department. The candidate is obliged to present the original matriculation certificate, its copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public. High school diploma can also be sent by mail (registered mail) or courier. The above document can also be provided by a "third party" such as a parent.


Candidates from abroad who will need a certificate of commencement of studies in order to obtain/renew a visa, residence card are required to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester in advance.

If your studies are paid for by your employer, for example, you can sign a contract with a University-Sponsor-Student annex. At the time of signing the contract, please make this request.

Note: candidates signing a contract a week before the end of the recruitment period PJAIT does not guarantee the issuance of an ID card and the activation of an account on the University's server before the start of classes.
